Velocity Disco Spin & Fitness is indoor cycling and fitness with a twist, our venue and instructors create an electric work-out and the great thing is that you can work as hard as you like or to your own ability it's your choice. Each instructor brings their own style and flavour to the class, add the music and lights and you’ve got Disco Spin and Fitness Classes run every week Monday through to Sunday. Our Evening Classes start at 6pm and run for approximately 45 minutes to an hour, depending on which class you are attending. All Classes are £6.00
Personal training 1 to 1, in a private gym with Angie. Angie is a Level 4 Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer. She specialises in Strength and Conditioning, level 3. She is a level 4 Nutritionist and has over 20 years experience with working with women to lose fat and gain muscle. She is qualified in Zumba, Strength and Conditioning and Spinning. She is also a Blue Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and trained with Professor Martin Dell from Isle of Wight Submission Grappling and BJJ Academy Sandown. She is the owner of Velocity Fitness and offers Personal Training Sessions in her unique private gym. The gym is completely private. Not like other Personal Trainers who train you in a commercial gym. Angie has a no nonsense attitude that will get you results in her classes and in these personal sessions and is always on hand to offer advice about nutrition. Nutrition plans are available for fat loss, but she prefers to teach you about Calories and Macros, to change your body composition and lose fat. Zumba is a fitness program that involves cardio and Latin-inspired dance. Studies show that it is possible to burn around 300 – 900 calories during a 60 minute mid to high-intensity Zumba workout. However, Zumba is generally considered a beginner-friendly dance style, and with a wealth of tools to get you started. Zumba is great for older adults because it is a low-impact exercise. This morning class will get you set up for the day ahead.
Monthly Membership for Functional Fitness classes. 8 Classes per month. Fridays 6pm and Mondays 7pm. No booking required. You can turn up to any of the classes as a member unlimited. Membership is £20 per month.
Kombat Fitness is a non contact fitness class to music utilizing boxing moves. The routines are easy to learn and the music will captivate you. You can make this class as easy or as hard you want to. If you have boxing gloves you can bring them and the weight will be added to your arms to get an added workout. These are not essential though.
Power Pump is a unique muscle building class to music using a weighted bar. You decide the weight that you want to use. You are in control of how hard you want to work. This class is based on light weights with plenty of repetitions. This music will keep you going. Using weights has many benefits as we get older. You don't have to lift heavy to gain muscle.
Do you love indoor cycling?. No matter what the weather, the sun is shining at Velocity Disco Spin Studio. The lights go down and the disco lights come on and the music starts. You can’t help yourself. Are you really here to exercise!. This 45 minute class with burn between 400 – 600 calories. The tension and pace are dictated by you. All fitness levels welcome and we are on hand to assist beginners
Kids Bag Blast is a non contact class for children under the age of 16 years and above the age of 6. The class follows a audio of instructions by numbers which teaches the children to listen and act on the number that they hear. Any hearing impaired children can still take part as the instructors know sign language and can communicate with the children visually. This class is 30 minutes long and gloves are provided. Parents are to stay with the children throughout the class.
TRX is a Suspension Training class for a full body workout. The class is structured into upper and lower body workouts. The focus is on body weight training for strength and stamina. This is ideal for beginners and intermediate people who want to get stronger without lifting weights.
Bag Blast for Adults is a non contact class. This class is 30 minutes of boxing combinations using a hanging punch bag. Guaranteed to get the heart pumping and let some frustrations out. You do not need to be a Pro boxer. You just need to listen and repeat the moves. This is a fun class for all abilities. Gloves are provided.
Kettlercise is THE single most effective Kettlebell fat burning workout, designed to shape and sculpt your body in as little as 20 mins for rapid fat loss & a lean toned body. It’s fun, super quick and super effective! This class is 50 minutes long and you will cover every inch of your body in this all over workout. Karen will teach you the moves. Kettlebells are provided. This class is in Studio 2 every Wednesday at 6.30pm
